Educators beyond just Tutors

Our tutors are certified or degreed educators, meaning professional teachers, certified educators, or both (including those completing their certification or degree at hiring), so every session is led by a subject-matter expert. We design individualized lesson plans. We prioritize understanding learning disabilities, neurodivergence, and recognize how Black and Brown students can be systematically overlooked in school systems. Families choosing tutoring in Philadelphia deserve educators who are paid fairly, so we aim to compensate our staff not just fairly but above the market average, because great educators should be compensated as such.

Diagnostic → Strategy → Progress

Before your first session, we conduct a comprehensive diagnostic exam. We learn how your student thinks. Then we design an active lesson plan built specifically for them. This plan gets shared with you and updated after each session. You track progress in real-time through our emails and other communications. Further, you will be able to access week to week updates for comparisons and session tracking through our parent portal(Coming Soon: eta Fall 2026).

College Planning & Admissions Consulting for High School Families

For high school families, we offer optional College Admissions Consulting, available from 8th grade through High School graduation as a separate add-on service or a loyalty perk for active tutoring families. We work with your family to conduct College Research, HBCU matching, identifying gaps in your student’s college readiness, career and potential major research.

This also allows us to work with you all early on to connect with our Test Prep Resources, as well as other Academic enrichment such as Writing and Essay support. You get a full package that includes Application strategies and Financial aid basics as early as 4-5 years before it’s time to apply for colleges.
